Astral Chain is a phenomenal game. It’s an innovative take on a hack-and-slash combat system that is challenging to learn, rewarding to master, and addictive to execute. I found myself going into the training area, after I beat the game, to continuously enjoy the combat. There’s also several new side missions after you beat the game and no DLC to buy or be concerned with whatsoever. The visuals are beautiful and truly pushed the Switch to a new standard with their anime-style art. The music is hits hard and it’s excellent; it’s a soundtrack I enjoy outside of the game as well. Astral Chain is an absolute gem and is easily a top-3 game for me all-time. I highly recommend you play this game.
