Q: Am I the only one who thinks the razor cartridges smells like fish? Am I crazy…

  • A: Yes, they do smell fishy, which I doubt has anything to do with the plastic because they do have avocado oil, Hyaluronic acid & perhaps other ingredients to keep it moisturized- because once I brush the blade with soap, there's no more fish smell. I take an old toothbrush i no longer use, put some soap on it and gently brush the blade with the soapy toothbrush before each shave to ensure it's clean.

    Quality has gone down

    Honestly came on here just to see if any others were having this issue and it seems like I’m not the only one. Used to love this razor, always left me so smooth and lasted a decent amount of time. These last couple of refills I’ve had barely last, and they’ve caused a lot of hairs to grow under the skin. Sad becuase these use to be my favs

    I’ve loved the Athena blade

    I’ve loved the Athena blade for a long time! Best razor I’ve ever had, closest shave too! I just wish there was a longer shave time. I think I chose twice a week or something, whichever was the longest. And it ships every few months. I’m older and the hair isn’t growing as fast so I wish there was a longer option. Like we could pick how often we want it shipped vs how often do we shave.
