Been using this brand for years! It’s been a while since I’ve purchased a new pack, and now I’m just sad. Immediately could tell that the new design is favoring profit over usability & quality. Very irritating for my skin whereas the old design was amazing. Pretty upset I have to find a new razor that I love.

I’ve been using this brand since the fall but recently, I’m not sure of some kind of rebrand happened but now I can’t shave with a new blade without getting a million cuts and horrible skin irritation. The blades rust right away and hardly good for even the first use.

I used to love this razor because it was cheap and gave a great shave. They recently changed the design and now I get insane skin irritation and nicks every single shave, even with a brand-new razor! So strange that a 5-blade razor shaves like a 1-blade :/

They changed the design of the razor refill and I hate it, not a close enough shave and for some reason these new ones are rusting! But from what I’ve read you can get the Harry’s razor re-fills (still have old design) and can be used on the flamingo razors! Since they are owned by the same company!

I typically use this razor handle with the Harry’s razor heads, simply because I find that the men’s version work better for some reason. I wanted to try these because they match better per say, but I’m going to stick with the Harry’s ones because these cause me irritation and I find myself somehow ALWAYS getting a cut from these. Never happens to me with the Harry’s ones.

I hadn't bought razor refills in a while, so I didn't realize they had redesigned the razors. Shave was not great, and there is so much more plastic in the packaging- did we really need a had plastic cover for each razor!?! I will be retiring my Flamingo, and looking for other options.

Just swapped my razor cartridge in the shower this morning and immediately cut my armpit. Tried my leg - immediate razor burn. I switched right back to my old cartridge and finished the job no problem. I knew they looked different from the Flamingo old cartridges but I didn't expect them to be worse. These new cartridges now sit more flat to the handle and have less "give" than the old ones. The blades are also further apart and also seem to have a different angle. I went to Target today to see if I can still find the old ones in store and it looks like they're all these new ones. :( In short, bye Flamingo. I can't imagine they'll keep this new design; it's like shaving with a cheese grater.
