This will likely only be able to fit the phone itself outside of the Otterbox case. Almost all protective cases, especially thick and rugged ones like the OtterBox series, must be removed before attaching the Backbone One. The additional thickness and bulk prevent the device's clamps and connector from seating properly.

Very disappointed for Xmas this year. Received as a gift and it is not compatible with my iPhone 15plus like it claims. Reached out to cst service and it’s a firmware issue. Can’t get a replacement and very disappointed.

Daughter loves this!
