I wanted a thick mat, but this could be used as a sleeping mat. I could not get it to lay flat it is so thick. Great if you need something to sleep on!

I was excited to use this mat because doing some poses hurts my kneecaps as they dig into the floor, but once I took it out of the strap it wasn't worth the hype. It had this discoloration about it... not sure if it was even fixable at that point, or whatever material was used got wonky. Using the mat was Okay. I liked how thick it was at first, but you can really tell a difference when you're on the edge. The grooves were a little too mesmerizing to me, and I had to really concentrate more because my eyes were getting a little strained when we leaned forward. The main thing I didn't like about it was the quality of the material used. The mat would slide sometimes; it squeaks if you try to reposition yourself or hop to the front of your mat, and after one time using it, the material started creasing like I've used this for years. I returned it the same day after my class.
