Q: The name says stainless steel barber shearsbut I don't see anything in the description about them being thinning shears or thinning the hair which is what I need them to do.

Matte metal shears
As a non-professional hair stylist but someone who cuts her own hair and kids' hair, I think these are decent hair cutting shears for the price. The material is a matte metal instead of shiny (not sure if this makes a difference) and they make a nice, clean cut.

Great shears
Love these shears!! They are a very good weight in your hand. I love the little black nub that keeps them from slamming together at thumb and finger. The way the finger rest is, is long enough that your finger fits comfortably. They cut straight and perfectly without having to go back over. I would definitely recommend these shears!!

High quality shears!
I have used these hair scissors multiple times and they are fantastic. I have been trimming my own hair as well as my sons and these scissors work great. The scissors are sharp and provide a great precise cut every time. The quality is impressive. They are 100% stainless steel. They also provide a comfortable grip while using. Good shears. Hope they last.
They are good shears. I decided to replace my old shears because they were starting to gain a rust look. Compared to those, this newer shear has better weight to it. My older ones are longer, as you can see in the picture, but I am not having any issues with this shorter version. There is also a dial on these newer shears that may allow you to tighten the blades, but they don't need that right now.

Barber shears
I started cutting my family's hair during COVID and have just been using the shears that came with the hair clipper. These shears are a nice step up. They are sharp and cut well. Also the finger holes are a little bit bigger than my current shears, so my thumb fits better.

This pair of hair cutting shears is very nice. They're very sharp, easy to hold. The weight is nice and they cut very cleanly. They are easy to store and wipe off to clean them very easily as well. It's a very nicely put together pair of shears.
