About the Author

Lu Fraser worked for a number of years in children's brand licensing before decamping to the Hampshire countryside to write children's books in her garden shed. Her first picture book, The Littlest Yak (2020), was illustrated by Kate Hindley. Her picture book The Viking Who Liked Icing, which boasted illustrations by Mark McKinley, was shortlisted for the 2022 Waterstones Children's Book Prize.
Sarah Warburton is an established artist whose books include Dinosaurs in the Supermarket (written by Timothy Knapman), The Princess and the Peas (written by Caryl Hart), and the Twinkle books (written by Katharine Holabird), as well as One Camel Called Doug and Mavis the Bravest, with author Lu Fraser. She has an uncanny ability to capture huge amounts of charm, humor, and detail in her work. She lives in Bristol, England.
