Beard Club Precision Beard Trimmer: Electric, 14 Pieces, All Skin Types, All Hair Types

I wanted to like this trimmer, but I didn’t even get one full use out of it before deciding it’s going back to the store. My previous trimmer was a Remington PG6025 that lasted me 12 years, so maybe my expectations are different, but this “Precision Beard Trimmer” feels anything but precise. The blade is nearly 2 inches wide, which makes trimming a mustache or doing detail work around the lips awkward and frustrating. The biggest issue is the length settings. There’s a huge gap between the 2.0mm setting with no guard and the #1 guard on its highest setting. Unfortunately, my preferred mustache length falls right in that gap, meaning I can’t get the look I want no matter what setting I use. It’s also surprisingly loud. The motor sounds much harsher than other trimmers I’ve owned, and definitely louder than the Remington it was replacing. On the positive side, the battery life appears excellent, the display is nice, and the trimmer feels solidly built. If all you need is a tool for trimming a beard to a uniform length, it may work well for you. However, if you’re looking for true precision trimming, especially for mustaches or detailed grooming, this probably isn’t the right choice. I’ll be returning it and looking for something with better length options and a dedicated detail trimmer.

Great razor that worked for what I needed while it.. Well, worked. Motor seemed to have crapped out a little over a week after the limited warranty expired (The odds of that , huh!). But aside from that, it works phenomenal. Unsure whether my problem was avoidable or wear and tear just did it in, which is odd considering I likely charged it 2-3 times within its ownership so it was rarely used, nor ever introduced to a way for water clogging or any sort. So say, 12 hours of actual use tops is what I was able to get out of it, tops. Hope this helps someone!
