Q: My dog is about 60 lbs. Would this size be too small? Looking at the dimensions it seems like its somewhat large for a small dog.

  • A: I think you should get a bigger size for your dog. I just got this one today for my 15 lb. Dachshund and it is the perfect size for her. The packaging states it's for dogs under 30 lbs. The measurements of the actual bone are approximately 5 1/4" long x 3 3/4" across at the top of the "Y." The measurements stated in the product description are apparently for the size of the packaging.

love how creative it is but do not recommend

i won this bone in a giveaway and was excited to give it to my dog and that's the only bone i gave him and he broke his two teeth because of this, it's too way hard and the plastic when he chews and swallow and he will start hacking because it got stuck in his throat, i hate to give low reviews but i will not be giving my dog this anymore.

Instant delight

I was dogfighting my granddog for the night. He's a pittie and had to keep him busy. When he arrived at my house I instantly gave him the wishbone bacon flavor. He would not drop it! Well into 2 hours he enjoyed it! So thankful because I don't know how I would have kept him busy on this dark fall night. Thank you benebone and Bones thanks you too!

Very impressed!!

My dog has a tendency to chew his toys for 5 minutes and get bored, so he opts for my furniture instead. But this bone keeps him occupied for hours!! He loves it. It's his favorite amongst his many, many chews. It really is very durable, he still has a lot of bone left! I wouldn't call him a super chewer, but he definitely can chew. This plus is a bit more specific to my circumstances, but my flooring is slippery tile. While he can still grasp and steady the bone while chewing, whatever material it's made of slides easily around the floor, which he gets a real kick out of! He'll slide it around and pounce on it until he's all tired out. Love this bone! Highly recommend.

Dogs love it

My dogs love this Y bone. They steal it from each other all day long. It's very cute. I've bought many and none have splintered. The dogs occasionally make them pointy like a candy cane but I just take them away at that point.

Our black lab stopped chewing on bones for the most part unless they are dipped in peanut butter. Our yellow lab, however, can go through a bone in days. I think the wishbone might be her favorite. I tried to get a large size, but she goes after the medium size if it's available.

Wishbone does last long enough
