I'm leery of bones of this type, ymmv. This is the only brand I'll use, it does flake off in very small pieces and I don't have to worry about her getting a large piece. They last a long time, and it's one of the toys she reaches for most often. Replaced my BulliBones after they severely decreased in quality and started breaking in dangerous chunks.
