Q: Is this toy durable for tough chewers?

A: Hi - Thank you for contacting Target. This toy is durable but not indestructible and you should remove it if it shows signs of breakage. The rubber is non-toxic, so accidental ingestion of smaller pieces shouldn’t harm the dog but larger pieces run the risk of blockage. Have a wonderful rest of your day.

This little stick has been the most durable toy we’ve purchased! We have an Aussie that destroys everything within minutes, but for some reason this stick has stood the test of time! He did work one of the little nubs off, but the rest are still going strong.

I’ve got an anxious shepherd mix that always needs to be chewing on something, and this is perfect for him. The thick rubber is sturdy, even after being chewed on for hours a day. Only after a year is it showing some signs of wear, mostly near the top.

It took my dog about 30 minutes to chew off one of the small nubs that sticks out from the side. She’s a six month old English bulldog mix. Super disappointed that it says durable material and clearly is not. A waste of money if you have a dog that truly likes to chew.
