A: Hi - Thank you for contacting Target. This toy is durable but not indestructible and you should remove it if it shows signs of breakage. Bought it for my Siberian Husky who really isn't a power chewer and prefers plush toys and balls over rubber chews. He initially wasn't interested with the "crinkle mechanism" but then I placed a treat inside the toy and he has been hooked ever since. I could see this as a great treat dispensing toy that keeps his attention span locked in for long periods of time. I am still going to supervise his chewing sessions just to be on the safe side.

Please be careful with this toy. My lab was able to chew pieces of it off and my little chihuahua ate a small piece that obstructed his small intestine and required a resection sugery. $12,000 later, and we still don’t know if we get to bring our baby home.

We have a complete maniac chewer. And this chew toy lasted for over year. It is the ONLY toy that she cannot destroy. I don’t know what exactly it’s made out of, but it’s soft enough to not hurt her teeth, and they should seriously pave roads with it because it’s the toughest material on earth. Buy this tug.

My dog absolutely loved this toy, between the shape and the sound it makes while chewing it was perfect. The only issue with it is that with a St. Bernard mix the poor thing lasted only a week before one end was chewed off and he was extracting the noise maker in the middle. If they could make this out of the kong brand rubber it would be one of the best toys on the market for sure.

It seems to be really tough & my min pin won’t be able to destroy. He destroys all his toys. It’s larger than I thought but he lugs it around, so it’s ok for larger dogs. My only suggestion would be to make the “branches” longer. He is a back teeth chewer & they aren’t long enough to reach his back teeth. Other than that I can recommend it & worth the $$.

Our pup is a fetch maniac! This stick is more than a toy, it’s her best friend. It’s the first item she finds when she wants to greet you at the front door. It sleeps in bed with her. She loves this thing more than life itself. She’ll spend hours searching for it, just to cuddle with it. We’ve had it for 3 years and no matter the toys we have bought since, nothing compares to her love for this stick. I know we can take the chances but was curious if this toy is dishwasher safe? I’ve tried cleaning it in our sink, but the tight lines and cracks make it almost impossible to get all the dirt/ debris out. I’m nervous she could get sick from the amount of dirt it collects from our backyard.
