A: Target Staff Support - The dimensions do not answer Trish's question. This harness goes by sizes. X-Small, Small, Medium, Large, X-Large. Are you saying all sizes hold up to the same weight (10lbs)?

A: Look at pics; guest services agents have no clue what they’re talking about. “It only holds 10 lbs.” No, that’s the XS. The description is terrible and almost misleading to customers. Look at some of the dogs in the pics. They’re larger breeds. I would measure neck, check, around the belly & contact the manufacturer directly to see if they can assist.
submitted byCorgiMom24 - 15 days agoA: You first want to measure your dog's neck and then a little lower where the harness is going to rest around their neck. Next, get your weight. Then compare the neck length, and dog weight with the specification listed in each size of this harness. There's a minimum and maximum neck length for each size, you want your numbers to fit in between those parameters. Hope this helps

This harness has held up great! It’s been our go-to harness for daily walks for well over a year now and still looks and functions like it’s brand new. It seems a bit bulky for summer time and the padding on the straps makes it a bit difficult to adjust the sizing. Also it is not escape proof! Once upon a time when i first rescued my girl, she was afraid of her own shadow and we did have one incident where she backed out of this harness. For a while i used a carabiner to connect the front ring to her martingale collar just in case and that worked great. For size reference, my girl about 50lbs and wears a size large with the straps adjusted as tight as they go

I bought a Large for my bully, she’s 55lbs for reference. It fits her perfectly. Easy to put on and take off with “right” and “left” written on the inside so there’s no confusion which side is which. Well made and sturdy, but this barely fit my puppy as she got to 15 lbs. I bought the same harness in pink and it fits her fine with room to grow. Same size. The lilac is way smaller, sizing seems off. Will definitely not fit a dog 20-25 lbs.

I love this harness, which looks great on our 17 pound rescue pup. I originally bought one with the white label (see photo) in a small, which fits her well if it's let all the way out. I wanted to buy another one, so bought another small - however, the product now has a green label. They've changed the sizing, so the small is smaller than the old version and no longer fits her. See pic to compare the measurements.

I love this harness- how it looks, the color. However, who ever designed this did not think about the fact that the clip is not adjustable. Yea the Velcro is but if their ribs are wide it sucks. I got the medium and it was HUGE and again, not adjustable enough to be the size my dog needs. Btw she’s literally an 8lb chiweenie. Shouldn’t be that difficult.

I had my 9 week old puppy with me in the car. When the girl saw him and said “awww a puppy!” I specifically asked her not to touch him because he’s not fully vaccinated yet. She went ahead and touched him regardless. Target: please train your employees to respect boundaries with customers. I’m sure your employee meant well but still, it’s not acceptable.

It seems to be more comfortable than her old harness. It is definitely well made. It is not very reflective. I liked that it's clearly labeled so it's easy to get on and off. It's definitely well made, but It's not as reflective as I hoped it would be. Great for just an every day harness, but I specifically wanted something highly reflective for walking around in the dark and this just isn't reflective enough.

It lasted a month before it broke. The ring you hook them with broke through the fabric. The dog wearing it was just adopted and it skinny and frail and managed to break it.
