A: In my experience, yes. I have two pit bulls and it takes a while for them to rip pieces off. This toy has survived for weeks without being ripped and then for months in two large pieces.

EMERGENCY SURGERY
(See attached photo that i put) The only reason this toy is getting one star is because it was enjoyable for my dog until it could’ve killed him. Our 1.5 year old bulldog bit a piece off and swallowed it HOLE causing him to need an EXPENSIVE emergency surgery! Causing an intestinal obstruction that could’ve killed him. THIS SAYS it’s made for “tough chewers” it is clearly not. BE CAREFUL . And target - change the label or revoke it from the shelves

Great for Big Chewers!
Great for mini labradoodles! My mini labradoodle is very rough with her toys, typically spreading them to pieces! This is the one toy she hasn’t yet! Dangerous for aggressive chewers!
This toy is the offender of a $6000 intestinal blockage emergency surgery for my 2 year old dog. I am returning to the store I bought the toy from to read the packaging. I am usually pretty diligent about not buying toys that are labeled not for chewing/not for aggressive chewing/etc., and I don’t recall the packaging of this toy saying that. However, I could be remembering wrong, so I will fact check myself on that. I see the product description here states it, but someone shopping in store has no way of knowing if it’s not explicitly labeled on the packaging, which I hope for the safety of other dogs, it is. I’ve seen multiple reviews on here of other dogs suffering the same issue. It is a costly and dangerous one! We are very grateful and blessed that we were in tune to our dog’s abnormal behavior and our intuitions to get him checked, as it could have been fatal had we not. Please avoid if your dog is a big chewer - maybe avoid even if they aren’t as this toy breaks off super easily and could be swallowed before you even realize.
