My dog has had the larger version of this bone before and he loved it. I got him this short one and while, he loved it, it is the perfect size to have gotten lodged on his lower jaw. This $4 bones ended up costing $750 at the emergency vet.

Healthy dog began vomiting and having bloody diarrhea
I should have read previous reviews on this shin bone before I purchased, as my otherwise healthy 7-year old Border Collie mix developed HGE (vomiting and bloody diarrhea) within hours of ingesting the bone filling. I rushed her to emergency vet and I was told that she was exposed to Clostridium perfringens (like C diff in humans) and she had to be hooked up to IV fluids and stay in hospital for 24 hours. She is now stable, but please avoid this product. There is higher risk of exposure toxin in bones and bully sticks, but this product should be recalled immediately.
