my dog loves marrow bones and usually takes a few hours to chew all the stuff off of them. this bone on the other hand- he was able to crunch into sharp shards and ingest it all within the 5 minutes it took me to shower after I gave it to him. literally came back to see how much of the bone he had chewed and it was all gone. completely my fault for buying this in the first place, and for not being present supervising while he chewed on it. he hasn’t been able to pass stool since ingesting this, only bloody liquid. now my boy is in the emergency vet (after spending $1500 this morning getting x rays and diagnostic testing done at our primary vet) getting enemas to help him pass the bone fragments stuck in his digestive tract. spent $3600 in total, and I’m not even sure he’ll be okay, he’s still in the hospital. should be a crime to manufacture these and sell them. absolutely insane.

My dog is sick vomiting and can't walk he just falls over and shaky, his eyes are rolling after chewing this bone. Did not buy online bought in store. I didn't see all these reviews and over 2 years of these reviews target deserves a lawsuit for not removing this off the shelf. I'm really upset that they know about and hasn't done anything.

As other people say, this bone deserves 0 STARS. And should be taken off the shelves. My dog had it broken into millions of pieces within minutes and I took it away immediately. Thank goodness she didn’t finish the bone but I was a little skeptical seeing the pieces everywhere, big and little chunks, so I looked at the reviews on here and decided to throw all of it, seeing what others said. TARGET, TAKE THIS OFF YOUR SHELVES! Extremely disappointed they sell a product like this.

I expected our dog to be gnawing on this bone for a couple of days. After 30 minutes , he was chewing on a handful of bone shards. The next two days will be constant anxiety wondering if there'll be an emergency vet visit.

Zero stars for longevity, apparently five for flavor. My dog devoured this thing in about half an hour. Used to the buffalo shins that lasted him a good month of heavy gnawing. Still, can't be sorry he enjoyed it so much!

I bought these for my 2 dogs. One wouldn't touch it but my small dog liked it and started chewing right away. After a few mins I realized he had broken off large shards of bone and had to take it from him before he could swallow them.
