A: BEWARE…these bones splintered when our when chewed. Just left the vet after a $700 emergency vet visit for one dog and now our other dog is vomiting bone shards.

Bad Bone

WARNING! Gave our Jack Russell Terrier this and she died!!! I have emailed the company and went to local Target where we bought it and have not heard back from either place. They have horrible reviews and we had no clue of the outcome. She became violently ill,,,2 vet visits and passed in the most horrible way!!

Not for all breeds
I think people need to be mindful of their pups strength. I don’t give this to my German shepherd because I know he will shred it and ingest it within seconds. However, my 7lb chihuahua mix has ZERO issues. He loves it. I buy him one about every 2 weeks. He’s had about 10 in his lifetime. HOWEVER, after seeing the live bugs in the packaging, I will no longer be purchasing.

Stay Away!
I wouldn’t even give one star! This bone caused my family’s dog to go to the emergency vet and now we have a bill over 10,000 because it was stuck in his intestines and he could not pass it. Why with all these bad reviews is target still selling this item!? Such bad business ethics and totally negligent customer service. I wish I saw these reviews before!

$12000 vet bill
This $4 bone for my dogs 9th bday cost me $12000 and almost my dogs life. I don’t understand after seeing all these reviews why target still sells this item. I got it in store without seeing reviews. Thinking the bone was so large there’s no way my dog can accident ingest this. He was in the kitchen with us and moments later we realized the bone was breaking apart! At this point we distracted him and took the bone away. We kept an eye on him until hours later he was lethargic vomiting undigested food. His regular vet could not see him in this condition so we had to find an emergency vet. Sure enough bone fragments were found his digestive system but one piece was not dissolving and now he’s having stomach surgery. I never give my dog small bones raw hide for this reason. Can’t believe I felt a pet company and target would sell a trusted product. Never again.

DON'T BUY
Horrible bone. Broke into peices before I knew it. My dog ate a large part of it and I'm terrified she's going to end up with a blockage. So upset with myself for not reading reviews before giving it. This shouldn't be in stores.
