Directions: For best results, refrigerate after opening. Basic Stock Directions: Dissolve 1 teaspoon (equal to 1 bouillon cube) Chicken Base in 8 oz boiling water. For each quart of stock needed, use 1-1/2 tablespoons chicken base. Use basic stock for soups, sauces and gravies or to cook vegetables, rice or pasta with more flavor.

I use the chicken all the time. at time of pricing: 1 tsp; 1 cup boiling water = 1 cup of broth. That is about $0.15 a serving, compared to buying a can of broth for $2. I will say though that the beef flavor is overwhelming salty. I don't use beef broth in general but you could lessen the amount of paste you use. The chicken is very good though

Don’t know what your soup or sauce is missing? It’s likely just a little bit of this. I always have a jar in my fridge. Try adding a little to the boiling water when you’re preparing rice or other grains and thank me later (just remember that a little goes a long way and you may need to adjust the salt elsewhere in your recipe).
