Q: How long does that gas last?

submitted by Durability - 10 months ago

  • A: The BIC Multi-Purpose Lighter provides several hundred lights.

Q: What is proper way to dispose it once the butane is so low that it does not produce a useful flame.

submitted by Sam - 11 months ago

  • A: BIC strongly encourages consumers to use the lighter until the all the fuel is gone before disposal. Dispose of empty BIC® Lighters in your trash. For quality and safety reasons, a lighter is composed of several different metals and plastics which are difficult to separate for recycling.

    Sr Citizen proof

Too difficult for a Sr Citizen with arthritis to use because of the childproof safety feature requiring two finger motions at the same time.

    Not requested color

The lighter is fine. The shopping experience was not. First, this was a replacement for my original order, that was a purple duo in two tones. This was supposed to be light purple / lilac (reason why I ordered this). Got an ugly weird tone of red. The publication didn't say (or I didn't see it) that they could come in any color or I wouldn't ordered it.

    Yep, its a Bic.

Can’t really ever go wrong with Bic. The button is a bit hard for me to push but other than that it’s just as good as any ol Bic.

Lights okay but handle/trigger design could be better

I generally like the Bic brand and this lighter functions okay; however, the handle design in the area of the lock & trigger makes it very difficult for me as I have arthritis in my hands. Will probably give it to a friend, because it works fine otherwise.

    Worst quality

I don’t know what the heck is going on but this stopped working after just 3 uses. I’ve yet to find a decent lighter that always works. These bic lighters used to be the best what happened 😩
