Handle broke after a few uses. Purchased a month ago for back to school and already broken . ""Warranty"" requires I pay to ship it for repairs and go without it for up to 6 weeks. Will not purchase Jansport again. .

I bought 2 these as a bundle about 4 years ago for my son and I. I use mine daily for work. I can put reusable ice packs plus my lunch nd everything stays cold well until I get home at the end of the day. It fits inside the large pocket of my "Big Student" bag perfectly. However, this ends up taking a large portion of space in my bag. The only thing I'd say could be changed is a more secure strap added to the top and a strap w/buckle to the sides that would allow the pack to be attached to the existing buckles on the backpack (or used as a strap for luggage handle.

It looks like there's a reason these were kinda on "sale". Had to buy something to qualify for free shipping. It'll make you realize that 8L isn't really that much space. However, the main compartment actually uses insulated materials and feels like it will last. The outside is just made of the typcial polyester. I can probably pack a small-medium lunch or snack in there and that's probably it. Likely will use for keeping drinks a few 1-2 hours cooler than usual. It is slightly rigid and somewhat keeps it's rectangular shape. Wish it had a secondary loop on top that doesn't velcro off so that it securely could lock onto something with a carabiner, or maybe some molle-like straps on the side or back. The 8-bit white camo sticks out too much, and I wish it was a darker pattern, but overall it was an ok buy.

It's the size of a Loungefly backpack. It holds all of the food I need to consume, as well as a bunch more just because. The only negative is that the food has to sit sideways in order to take advantage of the size of the bag, but that's not really horrible once the bag is put into its storage. It doesn't make condensation appear on the outside, which is a huge improvement over my last bag from another company. Buy everyone in your family one of these bags today!
