I love my little sweeper this litte pick me up is powerful without an motor it is an old fashion back in the day when you had to use some elbow grease it was put together right out of the box just push and go very easy to empty very well made and the height and weight is just right.

This did not work at all. The bristles on the brush are very soft and sparse so they dont actually grab any debris from the floor and trap it, it just pushed the dirt around my floor. I ended up returning it.

Just Okay
I don't have a lot of patience for companies that know there's a defect and don't fix them. Yes, the top does pull off like stayed in another views. I stuck some newspaper in there to keep it from falling off. And yes, it is short so if you're tall you have to bend over. It does not work on Floors but it's a carpet sweeper. I can see a difference when I use it, however sometimes you have to keep going over spot and sometimes it "throws up" and you have to clean that up too. But it's better than logging out the heavy vacuum cleaner and it is better to do areas on my office on rugs than to vacuum the whole thing for spotty areas. I'm not really impressed with Bissell products as my car vac doesn't really do too much either. This is better than nothing, it empties easily but I wouldn't buy it again.

Would be nice if it worked, and return declined.
The bristle brush was crooked right out of the box and the unit didn't pick up anything. I carefully repackaged and returned the item only to be denied refund without explanation. I will keep the denied return in mind when considering Target for retail merchandise that may require a return, going forward.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I attempted to screw on the poles to assemble the sweeper for using, the handle apparently was defective as it would not screw on (it appeared there was no threading inside). I attempted to try to push it on hard but it kept falling off. Luckily I still had my old Bissell sweeper and was able to swap out the handles. This is about my third sweeper I've purchased over the years. I believe the second one I received, one of the poles you screw into was defective as you were unable to screw it in. Again luckily I was able to swap out the bad pole insert with an old one. It appeared they're being cheaply/defectively made at the factory. Since the price for the sweeper is so reasonable and it does the job, I replace them when the brushes get pretty bad.

Works well on carpet only.
While it works well on the carpet, it does not work well on hardwood floors, it just pushes stuff around. It leaves a dusty residue if you go from the carpet to the hardwood floor. It is easy to empty, but hair gets caught on the sides and you have to pull it out. For the price I think it’s alright.

Perfect solution
I wanted a way to spot clean accent rugs, use on my stairs and this worked perfectly. I did not want a high tech gadget nothing that has to be plugged in charged, nothing complicated and this is it. I am very pleased. Super easy to assemble and the handle will fold down if you want to store it flat. Very pleased with this product.

Easy to empty out. It's just a little small the. The one bad thing is that this is my 3rd one I had to buy because they fell apart and had to tape the bottom and the handles.
