Why did you change the recipe?
Have been buying BD Smokehouse almonds for the last several years, they were my favorite flavor. However, the flavor has completely changed recently. Seems to be timed with the packaging labeling changes. The almonds now have lack any smoke flavor, lack salt, and no longer have the crunch that the smokehouse almonds had in the recent past. Please return the previous recipe!

I am not liking the change to Smokehouse almonds. They no longer have the smoky flavor and have very little salt. They have always been a favorite snack of mine, but I will not be buying them any more.

When I bought a bag of these like I do 2-3 x a month, I expected the same great taste as always... even though the looks of the bag have changed. Well, that is NOT what I got... All I got was a chewy, not crunchy like before, bland & practically flavorless almond! After eating a handfull, my teeth hurt which never was the case before, and so did my heart! I used to love these and the Wasabi flavor, but if this what Blue Diamond now offers instead, then I will NEVER buy them again.... I can get cheaper store brands that have more flavor & are still crunchy, so why would I pay more for what used to be my favorite!?!?!?

What have they done!?!?!? Fresh new look, BUT.....
VERY disappointed when I purchased thes in the new look bag... I expected them to be the same inside the bag, boy was I surprised! They are no the same crunchy texture, more chewy that ever, and they have absolutely NO FLAVOR! What a shame... I sure hope the Wasabi flavor did nto change also. 2 out os 10 will buy again, if this is how they are now....

Quality keeps slipping
The recipe changed again. I have a package of the old stuff, and the second ingredient is vegetable oil (Almond, Canola, safflower and/or sunflower). Now it's just sunflower. They taste noticeably weaker now. Again. I am not happy with the changes to these and I won't be purchasing these anymore. I'm switching to beef jerky.

We are so disappointed with the new flavor. Eww. Research shows the recipe didn’t change, but there is a clear difference between the almonds we used to love and the ones we can now hardly stand to eat. This is not a physiological change because of the new packaging (which btw doesn’t look “modern”, it looks “generic”). We have eaten these almost every day for years and could tell the taste blindfolded. One of our favorite snacks has become trash. Such a let down.

Did the formula change?
I just bought a new bag of almonds. The taste is not the same. I have been eating these almonds for over 20 years. They have always been my favorite snack. Now I cannot even eat a bag, I tossed it in the trash. It is less salty, less smokey, and has a funky after taste that I do not enjoy. If you changed please change back. For now I have to search for a replacement, I cannot continue to eat these. Very disappointed.

My favorite Blu Diamond almonds has always been smokehouse almonds in a big way💙 But if you ask me today, if I could return this open can of almonds, I would! These are not smokehouse almonds. It taste terrible comparatively. The name needs to be changed to liquid smoke.

These pre portioned sleeves are great for me. I always keep an eye on my daily protein intake and these bacon flavored snacks help me get there. I have been enjoying these for decades now! If you have them with a little cheese — it’s like your own personal charcuterie board for one!
