They do put peanuts as the first ingredient and it shows. The container was over half peanuts. I poured them out and separated them to be sure. If you are looking for peanuts, this id the iem. But if you want a better blend of mixerd nuts, this is not it. The nuts are properly roasted though.

There can be a problem with mixed nuts where they all start to taste the same, but these nuts don't have much taste at all... just texture. Even the peanuts don't taste like peanuts! The cashews probably have the most flavor. At more than 2500 calories per can, no thanks!
