(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This microphone worked great for me for many years unless it developed some weird buzz/hum. As a band-aid fix, I used NVIDIA's RTX voice to filter out the buzz, which works surprisingly well. I still use the Blue Yeti as my primary microphone.

Great Sound, Easy set up
This Yeti mic is great. It’s not the top of the line, but I’ve used an older yeti mic for years and it wasn’t as easy to set up and use as this one. Very good sound quality for the price. Definitely recommend.

Solidly built, nice design, simple to use
This totally reminds me of the microphone David Letterman used to have on his desk. Pretty cool! I was only able to test it using a MacBook and it was super easy to setup, per the instructions. I tested it a few times agains the MacBook's internal microphone and it makes recordings sounds significantly better. Sounds are clearer and deeper. My kids are super excited to use it to make ASMR recordings (Google it if you don't know what it is). I think it would be great for that. It's about 12" tall and weighs a few oz under 3 pounds. It feels solid and dense, but doesn't appear to be made from high quality materials. That's not to say it's cheaply made, but for the weight makes it feel like it should be made with higher quality materials.

Great Beginner Mic
This is a very hefty mic! The mic offers several preset audio options that are a good foundation for the beginner audio enthusiast. With the proper presets set, it should not be hard to play around in any audio editor to achieve the desired sound quickly and efficiently. The mic recorded very clear and clean sound. My voice sounded identical to that of a professional grade microphone! I would most certainly recommend this mic to anyone that wants to get started with audio engineering, podcast, streaming, or music making. The mic is heavy and seems to be very sturdy! I am really looking forward to playing around with this mic more!!

I recently decided to get into voice-over work as a side gig. I wanted to find a microphone that was inexpensive but that would still produce professional quality sound without requiring extra equipment. This microphone delivers just that as it is simple to setup, inexpensive, and because it has a built in gain you don't require a preamp to set it. This helps immensely when trying to control your sound environment and remove white noise from the background. It also includes four different sounds modes so that you can use it for everything from podcasts, youtube videos, conference calls, music, vocals and more. It also has a built in headphone jack, and volume knob, so that you can hear your performance instantly as you record instead of having a delay as the sound goes through the mic, into the computer, and then back. This is very helpful in both setting up the microphone to your needs as well as during recording. There's also a very handy mute button right on the front of the mic for during playback or if you need to step away. I was incredibly impressed by this microphone both during setup and during subsequent use. The quality of sound in my recordings was very evident and I am confident in using it for my VO work. I could not recommend this enough to anyone, both professionals and beginners alike.

It has four different modes for different types of sound recording from podcasts, conference calls, vocal performances, music, streaming and more. It also has a built in headphone jack, with volume knob, so you can listen to yourself as you record and the response is instant because it's coming directly from the mic and not going into the computer and back. There's a very handy mute button right on the front as well for when you are not recording or need to step away. I was immediately impressed by this microphone during my first testing and subsequent use. The sound quality is phenomenal on both recordings and when using it live. I could not recommend this product more it is simply fantastic.

Wow ,audio quality improved for my videos!
My son and I run youtube videos , and I also do a lot of small voices over work time to time, I have been using cheap microphones here and there the past years which has worked on and off but not the best quality I needed. Got this yeti microphone and started using it and I am blown away with how much better quality it is compared to my others, I wish I had gotten this kind a long time ago because now our videos are awesome with great audio!! I love that it has different directions it can record from, in front if it ,behind it , around and so, as well as the diff quality settings for voice overs and so. I'm in love with this one and will not go back to the cheap ones I've had in the past. I love that I can just hook the USB up to my macbook to and record away, so easy!! Best mic I've owned hands down!

fantastic mic if you have the desk space
This mic is a lot larger than I thought it would be. Thankfully, it's also lightweight but sturdy. The mic is just plug and play so you don't need any special software. There's a headphone jack under the mic so you can hear how your voice sounds in real time. The mic also has settings for one person or multiple people to use at once. Lastly, the audio quality is very good.
