Unique story
First person POV; Gay, NB, Pan, and Neurodivergent Representation Let me start off by saying that I didn’t find this to be a romcom as I expected, it was more of contemporary fiction with a dash of no steam romance. I thought that this is a unique story told from the inner workings/POV of a neurodivergent. While I appreciated the unique voice of PK, at times I felt that his repetitiveness & squirreling were a bit distracting, especially at the beginning of the book. It wasn’t until about half way through that I really became invested in the characters & storyline. Since most of this book takes place within PK’s head, we didn’t get to know much about Arty or the other characters, outside of what PK thought of them. I think that some readers will LOVE this uniqueness that this book has to offer, while others might struggle with it. Overall, I thought that it was a unique story and I was glad that I pushed through the beginning portion. Thank you @harlequinpublicityteam for this gifted copy. This opinion is my own.
