Bothy Threads Country Kitchen XHD127 Counted Cross Stitch Kit

Stitch Country Kitchen, a counted cross stitch kit by Bothy Threads — cats and dogs curl up in front of a blue range cooker, with a dresser of jugs and pans above. A little stitcher's folklore: the warm spot by the kitchen range was once the heart of every farmhouse, where lambs were revived and bread was proved. Why this kit: based on artwork by Hannah Dale of Wrendale Designs, it is stitched on Aida printed with Bothy Threads' exclusive speckled background, so the soft Wrendale look is ready-made. Kit includes: 16-count Zweigart Aida printed with an exclusive speckled background, pre-sorted stranded cottons and a clear stitch diagram and instructions. Stitches used: cross stitch, back stitch and French knots. A frame is not included. Stitch the kitchen and animals in cross stitch from the centre, then add the outlines in back stitch and the French knots. Finished size: 28×36 cm (11×14.2 in). A large, detailed piece for a country kitchen.
