    With your child bending to one side, measure the point where the flexes naturally. keep the tape level & comfortably loose.

  • Hip

    Have your child stand like a tall tree with feet together. Measure a level line around the fullest part of the hips & seat.

  • Inseam

    Take a pair of pants that fit your child well. Measure along the seam from crotch to leg opening.

Better than expected!

I’m so glad I found these! My son finally grew into the next size of big boy undies, but his old brand was only for toddlers, so I didn’t know what to get next. These are soft, nice fitting, low priced, and cute. I got him size 6 and he weighs around 44lb, so these will fit him for another year, maybe two. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality because I hadn’t heard of Handcraft brand before, but they’re decent. I got my son Mario and Bluey styles and he loves them!

They fit great on my soon to be 5yo and he loves the print. I dislike when brands only offer 4/5 and 6/7 for sizing because the 4/5 is too small and the 6/7 is too large, so these are great.

Sizing completely skewed

Bought these in size 4 for my youngest and size 8 for my oldest. Just now started making enough headway with potty training to bring these out for the youngest and they’re the exact same size at the 8s aka absolutely huge on him. Of course, my return window has closed so I’m stuck with them until I have two kids that fit into these enormous underwear. I even showed the size comparison in the photos between the 2, then the difference between these 4s and a standard 4/5 pair from Cat & Jack, and lastly between these 4s and a pair of 4T. Yes, there should be some variation but not that much
