Premium Cottage Cheese
I can only find this brand at Target. I read that it is the lowest salt cottage cheese. Really a very good cottage cheese. I love it so pick it up on my Target trips. Also read that it is called cottage cheese because people who lived in cottages (small houses) at it.

FAVORITE BRAND!
This is my favorite brand. So glad Target (near me, anyway) is finally carrying it. Some people say they don’t like it because it “doesn’t taste like cottage cheese.” That’s a GOOD thing in my book because most cottage cheese is hard to eat! It’s got a slight sweetness and is not salty at all. Delicious with fruit or jam, and nuts!

Tastes like eating chunks of skim milk
Tasted like cheap brand skim milk, or maybe milk that had been left in the freezer and allowed to thaw again. Doesn't taste like cottage cheese at all to me. Not rancid or particularly sour, just not good. I couldn't finish more than a few bites and ended up tossing it in the trash. I cancsee it working for recipes where it's being cooked, but I couldn't eat it as-is.

These individual sealed packages make all the difference! Even though this is the 2% vs 4% fat, it’s creamy enough that you don’t notice a difference. I tend to use it in savory dishes, but it works just as well in the morning with some fruit.
