It did have a very strong odor when I opened it like if it was sitting in a warehouse for a while or a basement. The material of the comforter & pillow cases is not too soft but not rough and stiff either. It is a bit simple for my taste but for someone that doesn't like too much color and likes neutral and simple decor it'll be a good fit. My bed is a queen and the set fits full/queen size beds & it fit perfectly on my bed, I didn't think it would so it's true to size.     Cool to touch, warm to feel

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This comforter is so comfy that even my cat approves it!! This Queen-sized comforter is perfect for my husband and me. It is poly-filled with a cotton exterior - the result being that you are warm and it feels smooth on the skin. It came in pristine condition, wrapped in a plastic bag that can be used store comforters and blankets when not in use. I love the minimalist design that works with almost everything. This is also machine washable which is appealiny as I don't want to lug heavy comforters to the laundromat for cleaning. Highly recommend!
