Q: So I recently purchased this set. Washed and attempted to dry it. It was on low setting and still seemed to ruin the comforter. I am super disappointed as it shouldn’t of almost melted the inside of it. What should i do

Q: I washed my Chambray Queen Comforter and spun it twice. I dried it for two hours and it wasn't dry. On high heat. Two days of hours of drying and it's still not dry. What can I do?

  • A: I used a commercial size dryer at the laundromat and after one hour on low setting it was almost completely dry. I let it continue to dry by just laying it out to air dry. It dried pretty fast.

    Missing shams

    I’m really sad because I get a new casa comforter every year and love them. This one was the same style but usually they always come with 2 shams and when we got it the shams were missing. Now I have to buy shams separately when they used to be included

    Buyer beware

    I washed this and it's too big for a washing machine. It never dries. It comes out of the washer, soaking wet with a puddle of water underneath it no matter how many times I put it on the spin cycle and I've been trying to dry it for hours, and it's still soaking wet.

    Sucks to wash

    DO NOT BUY. Literally impossible to dry. I have the queen and after three times in the drier it’s still damp. It seems like I’m not the only one with this issue and I wish I read the reviews before purchasing it. Literally find anything else😭

    Love it but can not wash at home

    The comforter is soft and beautiful and everything I want in a comforter. However I like to wash my comforter at least 2-3 times a month. I have a large front loader washer and dryer and my washer and dryer can not handle the size of the king size. It definitely needs to be washed in a commercial washer and dryer. I wish I had researched the reviews before buying. It’s not practical for me personally to take it to the laundromat everytime. I love it but I’m disappointed in maintenance.

    Too Heavy & Rough Material

    I purchased the cream colored comforter set in the king size. I really wanted to like this comforter. It was the perfect color and texture. In the store, it felt soft but after washing and drying the cotton gauze became so unbelievably rough and scratchy. Not at all what I expected or wanted. I previously had a cotton gauze comforter from Opal House that was so soft and cuddly but it was many years old and needed replaced. I hoped this comforter would take its place but unfortunately it will not. It is also really heavy, which is not ideal for a year-round comforter. I also don't prefer a really heavy comforter in general but some people might like that.

    Disappointed

    This comforter is not worth the money. The top layer of the comforter has warped out of shape, every little thing catches on it and threads pull loose. I have had this for 9 months and it looks like I’ve used it for 20 years. Very terrible. So disappointed.

    Cadaluna comforter

    Cute but after washing and line dry it is very discolored. It’s the inside that does not appear to be washable even though the instructions say it is machine washable. I bought a second one not realizing (after reading other reviews) that this is not an issue only we are seeing. I’ll be returning the second one and taking a loss on the first one. Very disappointed. Discoloring looks like the comforter is dirty.

    Impossible to dry

    This comforter is very cozy and nice to snuggle with BUT (big but!) there is a disconnect between the cloth covering and the inside stuffing so when you wash it, it squishes up into a giant ball and it’s impossible to dry. Ends up smelling musty even after hours of air drying and rotating in the dryer. Stays wet for hours. I would not recommend or buy again.
