Brother CP100X Computerized Sewing and Quilting Machine

Great machine! I was looking for a lighter machine that was portable and yet would handle the quilting. Its perfect! I like it so much that I pulled it out at home to complete a whole quilt from piecing to binding!

I have only one complaint about my new sewing machine. I have arthritis in my hands and it is very difficult to thread machine especially the #6 before you thread the needle and it is difficult to get the Bobbin in and out. The needle threader is a life saver. Otherwise I love my new machine. I would recommend this machine to anyone looking for a great sewing machine. My last sewing machine was a Brother CS6000. I retired it after 10 years but I am keeping it as a back up. Thank you for making great sewing machines.

This sewing machine works great. Has lots of features some I haven't tried yet.

For a basic sewing machine, I really like it. It does everything I need it to do. It has several decorative stitches to choose from. I really like the extension table which was included in the box along with the many feet, also included. If I had a negative comment, it would be regarding getting a good 1/4" seam. I would like a larger plate with the seam marked at 1/4". It took a bit to figure it out and using the included 1/4" seam foot. All in all - I love it!

I've been sewing with it weekly since I bought it four months ago and have been completely satisfied. I mostly quilt (piece) but also have done some machine quilting to finish my projects. The attachments and controls to change stitching have worked great. I really love the ease of using the automatic reverse/reinforcement stitching and the maximum sewing speed control. I bought this to upgrade my machine of 45 years that had none of these features! I was also looking for a machine that was lightweight and could travel with me to workshops and when on vacation. this machine fit the bill for it's price.

I bought this small Brother machine as a back up to my Dream Creator inovvis VQ2400. Obviously, the Dream Creator is much heavier and bigger than my CP100X. I do a lot of quilting and camping! I can take the CP100X in the camper to work on a quilt when it is too hot or rainy to be outside! It is a powerful little machine, stitches quickly, and has so many options in different stitches. We are actually heading to our campsite this afternoon. My CP100X is already packed safely in a closet in the camper waiting for me!

This is my third Brother machine and I love them all.

We bought 5 of these machines for out free sewing room 2 of them have started doing an automatic back stitch whenever the sewer pauses. it is very confusing for beginners and maddening for experianced sewers.

So far, great. Have only tailored one pair of pants and the machine was easy to use. I need basic, and this is so much more. Love the platform - makes it like a set-in machine. Replaced a 40 year old Singer.

Very nice sewing machine, I think the cover could have been made different, but overall I would definitely recommend it to others, , I really like the needle threader

The CP100X is a replacement for my 50 year old Elna Super. The learning curve is huge for a 74 year old. I still work full time, so haven't gotten very far. Even using You tube videos, it took me forever to wind a bobbin & thread the machine. I haven't tried actually sewing yet, and I got the machine late last year. I have something cut & ready to sew. Perhaps this weekend.

They have in-depth instructions for those that would like to read about every single craft they can do on the sewing machine, but they also have a quick read for those that don't care. They're sewing machines are usually very easy to thread and simple in their use. This quilt sewing machine comes with 100 pre-computerized stitches meaning with a simple touch of a button, you can do a specific kind of stitch. I never tried a computerized sewing machine before, but I definitely love this product and use it a lot to make Christmas gifts and other homemade crafts. This machine is not very large so it's easy to store and is even portable as long as you have a carrier for it. I also love that brother products come with minimal cords so you don't have to worry about getting tangled in them during use. They also have great customer service so if you have any problems or questions, they get right back to you and answer you thoroughly.

This sewing machine is perfect for every day use and quilting. This machine is big and it is very easy to set up. It’s beginner friendly but also great for experienced users. I love the LCD display and the numerous stitch options. Everything that I have made so far has turned out beautifully. The stitches are tight and every piece looks high end and well-made.

This machine is easy to thread and easy to use. I am really enjoying getting back into sewing.

I’m not an expert sewist by any means, but I love to sew and enjoy trying new projects. This machine has been great so far, easy to use and has all the functionality I need and then some. Certainly a great value for the price point.
