Brother SDX325 ScanNCut Craft Cutter

It is hard to load the mat. I love the scanning feature. Easy to transfer svg.I like the machine other than the mat issue

This is my first cutting machine and I’m having a blast! I started using it without any in depth tutorials. I have already completed a quilt by cutting out fabric and using to appliqué with my Brother embroidery machine. I completed about 30 canvas bags with heat transfer vinyl that I cut using my new machine. I gave them out as gifts and my friends were thrilled. I created a card, name place cards and I’m just zooming through different ideas I can do with this amazingly easy to use machine. The free online program as well as the phone app make it so easy to create and send to the machine. I’ve now purchased accessories that I can’t wait to receive and try. All in all, this is an easy to use, effective and amazing cutting machine anyone can figure out.

This machine us very user friendly as well as quiet and effective....love it. Bought a second ine for our winter home down south.

I love my scan n cut machine but wish there was a way to go back and recut without starting over. I also wish it would show where you are cutting at the time it is cutting a design.

My dealer offered training classes and I found a couple of online user groups so there is no stopping me now! I love the fact that there are so many designs on the machine and I don't have to use a computer to download them. The auto blade function is what sealed the deal for me. It eliminates all the guess work. The machine is quiet and user friendly. I'm having a ball!

I have a new Machine Scan N Cut DX - SDX125 Model that i am just learning to use. i bought the Scanning Mat - Model CADXMATS12. It won't feed into my Machine, i keep getting the message that i can't use this Mat. is there another Mat, i can't seem to find?

Since the manuals are not included in the box, but ARE available on line (a common thing these days--but did cost a star on my review), I downloaded the manuals from Brother to study before I started playing with the 225. There is always a learning curve with something new, and I like the idea of the lessons and support offered by my dealero. The cutter runs quietly and I have, so far, not had problems with its operation.

I love that the SDX225 is wifi compatible. It is relatively easy to learn to use. 1st machine of this type I have owned, have been using for HTV shirts, cutting fabric for quilting and lettering cars. Very versatile and so many options to do.

I love using the SDX225. It is a big time saver, accurate, easy to use, the technology is great.

I have had this machine the day it came out. We have paid alot of money for all the supplies, vinyl feeder and so on. It gave NO kind of "how to use this machine" manual. It gave just basic frew projects. I CANNOT FIND ANY KIND OF "HOW TO DO VIDEO'S OR MANUAL". I NEED HELP WORKING THIS Darn MACHINE! I see all kinds of video's on different brands of machines. I am new to any kind of cutting machine. It came witn Brother Canvas Workspace AND CANNOT FIND HELP WITH THIS EITHER!. please.......i need help using this machine. Please!

WOW! I was able to test this machine out at a Wandering Planners event. I set it up and starting cutting within 5 minutes! Def would love to own one!

I loved the idea of not having to adjust the blade but there is something wrong with the machine as far as cutting out lettering. So disappointed

As much as we pay for these machines and accessories.... they should ALL have roll feeders....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Brother ScanNCut Dx machine and I am loving it! It is very easy to use. It has a 5 inch touchscreen is easy to see and allows you to create and edit your designs. It also has and adjustable blade that detects the thickness of the material you are using for precise cutting. I loved that it has a scanner so I didn't have to have any special software to begin designing! It is also much quieter than the cutter that my sister owns! I definitely recommend this cutter to everyone!

I have owned 2 previous models and upgraded. Right out of the box I created the start-up project and have used the SDX225 frequently. The instruction were clear and the project was completed with ease. The machine was very quiet compared to the previous models. My favorite function was the auto blade adjustment and the ability to transfer my project from my laptop to the machine via WiFi.

I was able to follow the instructions for the one craft they included with the kit, but other than that I have yet to figure out how to use it completely. The books included don't really show you how to do anything. I will have to get online and watch some videos on how to use it. Comes with 2 mats, markers, cutters and some vinyl. If I can figure it out I'm sure it's going to be amazing !!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always wanted a machine like this. When I received this, I immediately opened it up and started "playing" with it. The set up was very easy and I love how it has a tutorial project for you to do so you can familiarize with the basic settings. I never had any issues getting it to function and the project came out amazing! I can't wait to do more craft projects with this machine, especially with my sister's baby shower coming up. It is definitely a must have for the avid crafter!
