The XM3700 comes with 5 accessory feet including a zigzag foot, zipper foot, blind stitch foot, buttonhole foot, and button sewing foot, it also has a built-in accessory storage compartment. Simply slide off the storage compartment to convert the flat bed surface to a free arm, perfect for sewing smaller cylindrical items as cuffs, sleeves, and baby clothes. The built-in LED light provides a brightly lit workspace. It has one 1-step, auto-size buttonhole, automatic needle threader and drop-in bobbin to make sewing a breeze.

Fantastic Sewing Machine
I bought this as a gift for my daughter. She absolutely loves it. She really likes the various specialty stitch types that are set right on the machine. Works great on everything from Blue Jeans to simple shirts. Great product for any home.

It gets the job done but could be better
Light Weight sewing machine. Great for taking to locations. I don’t like the storage drawer. It pulls off sideways and because of this it’s useless. All of my other machines the drawer opens by folding down. Why make a machine good for travel and give it such a crappy storage drawer?

Nice and quiet.
I only started using it a month or two ago. It's hard for me to get use to. I had a Kenmore for over 46 years and I had no problem with it because all the sewing machines at that time were set up all the same. This one is hard to get the thread thru the little arm that goes up and down with the needle. It doesn't come up past the housing to be able to put the thread thru. Also, the bobbin set up, it's not as easy to use as it shows. I do like the built in needle threader. It works great. It's a nice quiet machine. I repair clothes, make clothes or other little things. Basically, it's just getting use to a new machine after using only one in 46 years. This is a nice machine to start out on.

Broken.
It has failed, tho I used it several years. It only ran backwards and the manual's suggestions didn't work. A youtube video about sewing machine repairs suggested this often happened when the machine was set on the backwards part of a buttonhole stitch. Indeed, I moved the stitch setting fron straight stitch, #2, to zigzag, #3, and it worked for a couple hrs then stopped working again. [Buttonhole setting was #1]

Average machine
This machine replaced a pricier Brother machine that developed such a poor stitch quality it negatively affected my sewing projects. This machine is just okay, but I was intent on a better stick quality, which this one has. For now. My only quibble with it so far is the cover for the drop-in bobbin is hard to insert. Otherwise, this is a serviceable, basic sewing machine with basic stitch features.

Solid machine

Love this sewing machine
Fast and easy to use. Didn't need much instruction, labeling on machine shows where to go and how to do threading, stitching, bobbin loading. Tried a few special stitches, what an easy enjoyable experience! I would recommend this machine to beginner or experienced seamstress.

Easy to use
Since I haven't used a sewing machine in years this was really a treat. My son bought it for me and now I am sewing projects. I love how you can call the help line and receive personal attention. I have used this several times. I wish that they had an information video on u tube. I have found several but they were not for my machine. I really would have loved one.
