When I received this blanket, it was in a similar condition as others have reported. The tags were torn and the packaging straps were all askew. It was obviously a return that I had purchased for full price. It had also been thrown into the box without any plastic wrapping or anything to protect it from the cardboard and dirt inside the box. I loved the look of the blanket itself so figured I would keep it anyway. I noticed that the type of fur on the blanket does not seem consistent. There are sections that are super soft and sections that are very coarse. All of the coarse sections were very matted. I put it in the wash to try to get out any dirt from the box and the previous owner, and to see if it would help with the matting. once out of the drier, I used my pet's furminator brush on every square inch of the blanket to get out all of the matting (plus side: this brushing got me 12k steps on my fitbit). This led to having a whole pile of fur to throw away, but the blanket looked and felt 10x better than when it arrived. If I had known that I was spending $75 on a weekend project, I probably would've passed. But once I was in it, I was in it. A $75 blanket really should arrive to your house in its full glory. The customer should not need to spend a full day bringing it to its full potential.

arrived in target shipping box with torn paper labels put on holding stripes, obviously opened and potentially used. was supposed to be a gift so you can imagine the level of disappointment

I really liked the look of this blanket. Although, after the first wash and dry, the fur material is already showing signs of matting even though I followed the wash/dry instructions. I was super hopeful considering the price.

Honestly the best blanket I’ve bought in YEARS and I’m a blanket-o-holic. Worth every penny, so heavy and soft but also… slippery? In an amazing way. I know it sounds weird, but trust me. I’m buying 2 more.

If you are in need of a big beautiful heavy blanket to cozy up with, this is it!. So soft and pretty. It's size can cover a full size bed as an extra layer in Winter. Best purchase in a long time.

Much smaller than the picture shows, does not fit the length of a bed. It should definitely be bigger for that price.

Awe, I’m so disappointed in this blanket. Other reviews said how soft it was. I tried to see it in store, but my store did not have it. I wanted a big soft blanket for my living room for the kids and I to snuggle in with. It’s outer fur feels like my dogs fur (confirmed repeatedly by my children) and the under side of the blanket is somewhat slippery. So naturally, my kids have been using it as a slip and slide every chance they get…running from across the room and flinging themselves onto this blanket sliding (impressively fast) across it. This blanket is thick, but only about half as soft as my coziest blankets. I’m sad that the quality isn’t nearly worth the amount that I paid for this blanket. I’m hoping that if I wash it a few times it will soften.
