Q: Sturdy enough to lean on or attach grab bars to? ( necessity unfortunately)

A: If you have the table against a wall and need to lean on it, please do take in mind that the table top does have a 50lb static weight capacity. As for attaching bar... Winsome does not recommend the altering of its products.
