  • A: Yes! I bought this and used it a few times and threw it away. The satin is exposed all around the edge, so water seeps all over the inside of the cap while showering. It basically cancels out the waterproof exterior. I had thought I must be doing something wrong, but I never could figure out how to make it stay dry. I was very disappointed! I don't know how this product even got past research and development.

    Horrible mildew smell

    I have been using this shower cap for a couple months as I’m trying to train my thin hair to wash only every other day. I wash the cap weekly. I packed it for a weekend trip and when I opened the suitcase, the smell was horrible! I washed it and it was fine, but I have noticed that it smells horrible the day after I use it (I only use 3 times a week and it hangs up to dry.) I am so embarrassed to think that I have been using it and probably making my hair smell like a mildewed towel and didn’t realize it! This is going into the trash and I’ll keep looking for a non smelly hair cap!

    Convenient & Comfortable

    I’m really happy to see a plastic and satin cap combined. The plastic is thick and does a great job of keeping moisture off of my hair. It’s also very durable. The satin lining is smooth and I like that the elastic is covered. I wish it were a little larger but overall it’s a great product!
