Cantu Kids' Satin Liner Shower Cap

My daughter's hair was soaking wet. After wearing this. It doesn't work.

The first couple of uses was okay. But it doesn’t stay put so her hair often got wet at the nape of her neck and hairline. And it smelled very mildewy VERY quickly. It’s not expensive, but it probably needs to be tossed after 1-2 weeks tops. Disappointing..

I got this for my daughter and her hair still gets wet. It was poorly designed, would not recommend.

Your hair gets wet. This is not a good shower cap at all. Defeats the purpose and the wetter it gets it’ll eventually grow mold.

The satin liner gets wet after showering. My daughter’s hair has been damp each time after she’s used it (which is the complete opposite of why I bought the cap).

The overall quality is decent. But the Satin liner us exposed around the edged. SO when it gets wet, the wetness bleeds I to the rest of the satin liner underneath the protected outer layer. So....purpose defeated. Not quite sure how THAT made it past quality control 🤔.

It’s well made, but not well designed. I would only buy this shower cap if you don’t mind your kid’s hair getting wet. The design is somewhat faulty as the satin liner is exposed at the elastic trim, and therefore gets wet if shower spray gets to it. Then the water travels along the satin fabric under the plastic liner which exposes the hair to moisture. Luckily my kids hair only got a little wet when this happened and didn’t ruin her style, but if you’re looking to keep hair completely dry, I don’t think this is the best option. My kid plays a lot on the shower, so it’s impossible to keep her head away from the water. The design could be better just by making sure the satin is not exposed around the edges.

Satin liner is hemmed on the outside of the shower cap which causes your hair to get wet.

This does not keep your hair dry (you had ONE job!) and after only 2-3 uses it smells like mildew. Because the inner satin lining come out, the bottom and mid section of your hair will get wet. And it doesnt dry properly so it smells like strong midlew which stays on your hair and skin after use. Absoutly terrible product.

I love it because it’s satin lined but it is not properly made. The satin lining comes out and folds over the shower cap.. so if you get the satin wet on the outside… your hair is going to get wet because water spreads through fabric…. that’s not waterproof.

This works so well. I didn't realize it was a kid size, but thankfully it's not too small! I use this all the time and it keeps the water out. I've also washed it in the laundry machine with no issues.

Just what we needed! My daughter loves it.

Then I learned it was a complimentary item from Influenster I used it on my niece who has very curly hair. I did her hair the night before and put the silk cap on white in the shower and used it for sleep time it kept her hair protected for the most part. It has and adjustable strap that makes it super awesome to stay on.

Love these so much for me and my girls. Works well to keep hair dry from water and the lining is great for you hair too.
