Chef Boyardee Beef Ravioli - 15oz

Always ate the Boyardee canned pasta products as a kid. Remember it being really good . March 1, 2025 I purchased a 4 pack of over stuffed ravioli for my son and his friends . Upon opening the first can something seemed off about it. The sauce was not as red as I remembered it to be. I poured the contents of the can into a bowl and you could see a slight yellow "something" at the edges of the watery pasta sauce. It didn't smell good and the can had a expiration date of January 2026. I opened a second can and poured it into a plate. Upon doing this I found something hard and what looked like short hair from I don't know what. There is no reason for this. Chef Hector Boiardi were alive today, I and others wouldn't be leaving the unfortunate negative reviews . That's because Chef Hector Boiardi wouldn't have changed his recipe in anyway for his canned pastas. Sad and very disappointing. I bet the ones who changed his recipe would no longer have a job either.

Been eating Chef Boyardee Ravioli since I was a little boy, now I'm 40 years old and its like a taste of childhood for me. Considering the price, I think this stuff is great! I'm also happy to know that no artificial food dyes or preservatives are used and never have been used in Chef Boyardee's food.

My husband has been eating these straight out of the can since childhood. We could tell by opening something was definitely wrong. These are incredibly disgusting. And nothing near the original. Heartbreaking that they keep changing childhood favorites.

Will the Chef be unvaling the new mystery meat in its can of water in the near future? Why do you call this Classic Recipe? Thank you for answering these questions.

Found a paper wrapped candy in the can of ravioli. Won’t buy this garbage again.

Horrible, I am a single guy that does not cook. I eat canned food all the time strait from the can without cooking it usually. I opened a can of chef boyardee mini raviolis today and it was so strange I just couldn’t eat it. Watery strange texture, didn’t smell or taste bad. I tried to eat it. But something was wrong. No damage to the can. Was still within its best by date. I eat these all the time. Usually I enjoy them.

Had for the first time in a long time. Not the same product I had growing up in the 70's and 80's. Sauce is like water now and less flavor throughout the product. Very disappointing.

I really like the mini and regular size beef ravioli. The pop top can makes it very convenient for work and when I only have a few minutes to eat (i use a bowl and microwave). I dont know what folks are referring to the new recipe, but I understand change can be disappointing. As is it works fine for me. Thank you for you care and quality control to make a safely edible product that is not high in fat and provides some protein. Helps me stave off hunger for hours.

I heard that the ravioli changed, so I tried a new can, and wow, so disappointed. Runny, bland and the raviolis were falling apart. I think the cheese is missing????? So sad.....maybe just a mistake???

Bought 2 cans when we were sick. Made a quick easy meal so we could rest. It was good.

Second time and last time ordering canned goods from Target. Both times dented cans. Your staff needs to be trained on proper packaging techniques. Had three bags that should be inflated, all had big holes in them, like someone tore into them with a thumb. Cans are dented. I have no printer to create a return slip, so now I have to hold onto these until I go into a store.

Please understand that when I say I eat this for lunch daily, I DO. I am a little disappointed that they discontinued the minis but it's okay because these are amazing. My favorite thing about them is when you cook them without stering and the bottoms get stuck together so you get to cut them in half with a spoon. I love these ravioli and would 100% recommend them to anyone who wants to give them a try.

I have a can for the first time in years and it was unfortunate. So soupy and flavorless… I remember loving these growing up.

Zero stars deserved but couldn’t give a zero. This product looked disgusting. Not like it used to be. I threw away so many cans of this because I thought it was spoiled and thought I would get sick. I would never cook what is in the can. Watery and disgusting looking. Doesn’t look appealing or edible.

I was craving a can of beef ravioli’s, haven’t had one in years. Open the can to a tomato juice like sauce. Definitely not the best choice by this company. Sauce is very watered down, and the amount of raviolis in the can is much less than before. I’m assuming water down the sauce put more of that in the can, less raviolis you can sell this at the weight you advertise. Tried the sauce after heating up, definitely tomato juice. Then I tried the ravioli no flavor very bland, the noodle tasted well just not very good and mushy. I am very disappointed and recommend the board reevaluate their decision to change a recipe that did not need to be changed. I will no longer be craving raviolis after this can.

First time in awhile that I've purchased a can of ravioli. You changed the recipe. I'm sorry, but it tasted awful. I could not eat it. When I was a kid, I was raised on Chef Boyardee ravioli and it was delicious. Please change it back to the original recipe from years ago! Thank you!

Bought a can at the gas station for lunch, ate some of this marvelous ravioli on my way back to class. Can't beat it for the price. Beyond satisfied. Sauce was good too. 10/10, will certainly be enjoying for years to come.

The worst food ever. This use to be a great product but now its tomato water in a can.
