My dog choked to death
I need to write this review to spread the word. Today 9/12/2025 our dog choked to death from one of these balls. We have always bought these balls as it’s something that lasts longer for our Shepard’s. This morning we went through our same routine he had the ball and then suddenly he was gagging and foaming bad at his mouth, that is when i realized he had the ball lodged in his throat. It was lodge to the point we were unable to get it out. we couldn’t get it out the police couldn’t get it out and he passed. It was too late. I’m saying this with a broken heart please just be aware if you purchase these and to be safe buy the ones that are bigger. Sincerely a dog lover who wants to prevent this from happening to another dog.

Lasts a long time with power chewer dog
My dog will destroy a tennis ball in about 5 minutes. This set of balls lasted quite a bit longer. My dog doesn’t try to eat these balls. They are great for power chewers.

BUY WITH CAUTION
Do not buy for larger breeds. My GSD swallowed and choked to death with playing outside with this ball. The "large" size was the correct size according to their website. Sadly I have learned this is very common and happens more than you would think. Instead please play fetch with objects that are impossible to swallow.

Okay Chuckit, we see you! Look at this thing and she’s been at it for hours and hours the last two days (4:00am squeaks). If you have a tough chewer that goes through toys, you know what I mean. Also isn’t damaging her gums.

Didn't last but maybe 5 minutes.
I bought 2 of the XL size for my husky who is only around 50lbs. Smaller than recommended for the xl, but he is a chewer. He had both popped on the seam within 5 minutes. Is there anything more durable in that size that's launcher compatible?

Pup is obsessed
My goldendoodle LOVES these balls. He's a super chewer and these hold up really well against his chewing!! They are compatible with the blue chuck it stick also (size medium). Definitely recommend!

Quality of the Chuck It Balls are terrible now
As a dog daycare owner I have proudly used and recommended to my customers the Chuck it balls and launchers. I would buy a dozen at a time and they held up to playyard that changed and in the last 18 months they are garbage. They don’t last a day

My wife brought home a set of four We gave one to the dog to play, two times grabbing it and the bal was split in two and the fabric letting loose. Gave a new one to dog, same result Not the quality we are use to get

Great Ball BUT!
I have always loved the Chuckit line of dog toys. But I have to say I'm a bit disappointed with my most recent Chuckit Ultra ball. It has begun to split across the seam. My dogs are not chewers. They will squeeze it a few times before dropping it though.
