Q: Is this tote water resistance? I see that it cannot be soaked in water so more specifically is it made of a porous material?

A: Hi AJ, This laundry tote is made of recycled polyester with vegan leather accents. Due to our items not being machine safe nor can they be soaked in water, we recommend using warm water on a towel with mild soap to dab at any dirty areas or you can use disinfecting wipes or a stain removing pen may work. My lifeline
These, used with a foldable hand truck have made my life doable for years. As a single woman ‘of a certain age’ but who still makes her own grocery runs, I can bring all my purchases up to my apartment in one trip. I stack one filled bag atop another for excess items. Whew!

Have not help up over time
I loved these totes so much, used them for everything, and told friends about them. I kept them in the back of my suv to hold kids gear, used them for laundry, all of the things. The problem though is one by one the snap mechanism keeps breaking and they are permanently unable to snap to stand upright on one or both sides. My hunch is that pressure when upright forces them to snap outward and break. And without that structure it just falls completely flat which makes them almost useless. I'm not sure if it's my kids falling on them, or what it could be but I am sad to have to throw them all away.

Love these basket totes
This is the 5th set I’ve purchased. Bought my adult children each a set. With all the laundry you have with small children they are constantly in use. The handles make it so easy to carry. The ability to collapse and tuck out of the way keeps the laundry room neat. Great to use for road trips to pack the car or anytime I have to carry anything bulky.

Love these totes
These totes make doing laundry easier. I can carry a heavy load of laundry with one hand, rather than struggling with a heavy plastic laundry basket that is cumbersome. They also work well for carrying lightweight groceries from the car.

This is exactly what I've been looking for. Our laundry is downstairs and we have narrow stairs, makes lugging the laundry up and down much easier and it’s great that it easily compacts and can be put away on non laundry days. Absolutely a must buy, you won't regret it.

I live in a small studio with zero closet space (not exaggerating, no closest at all, anywhere) and am always looking for ways to utilize what space I do have ...these work great for me. When I'm done doing laundry I just collapse them and slide them under my bed...I use to deal with traditional laundry baskets and they were always in the way.

Simply elegant solution
I love this solution to the laundry basket problem - bringing a basket up to your bedroom is handy, but then it is a space hogging item that is visually and physically in the way until you can return it to the laundry room. What if it could just simply flatten and stash away until it could be conveniently deploy in a single flick of the wrist? Brilliant.
