Wanted to love it!

I was so excited about this coffee table! However when we were assembling it we noticed poor quality and damage on the wood. It seems like the lacquer finish has settled into the wood which is quite porous so there is texture! The small bag that held the screws and tool had also broken and they were all loose in the box.

Two holes for screws were drilled improperly, so one screw wouldn't tighten, and the other wouldn't "latch" in order to be tightened at all. Target customer service has been useless. Target online is telling me to deliver it to a store (I can't move this by myself, and it won't fit in my car). Can't get ahold of anyone in an actual store. So now I'm stuck with a $300+ piece of garbage that's not even suitable as a paperweight.

Gorgeous glossy table

My first table arrived broken, which revealed that the lip of the table is not wood, but rather some sort of white, softer material. This was disappointing but it was easy to return in store and I re-ordered another table. This one arrived in better condition. It has a small chip in the finish on one leg and I do worry about how the paint will hold up long term. However, it was simple to put together and is otherwise sturdy. The table looks high end and was just the modern pop of color my room needed. Lacquer is an expensive finish that’s hard to find at a reasonable price point like this one. I am very happy with with the table overall.

Great piece, gorgeous color

Great piece. Easy to put together, respectable quality, gorgeous color. Lacquer displays fingerprints and smudges but that’s to be expected.
