Poor design makes it unuseable
The 5 star reviews have got to all be paid for. As others have said, this thing is both too tall and more importantly, extremely prone to tipping over. It is unusable on a couch or bed, which is exactly when you want to use it. I tried for two days and it was constantly tipping from my the weight shift of my tablet or any nearby movement. I’ve never had such a bad lap table and this is also the most expensive I’ve tried.

Who is the customer here?
The legs are comically too tall! I've figured out that I can wedge them between couch cusions to get them to a usable height, but that means I have exactly one place I can use this item. I was looking for a long and shallow lap desk and in the store the legs are behind the packaging. I should have read the reviews!

Don't buy this. Buy literally anything else.
Why would they make the legs in such a way that they topple over at the slightest provocation? Even worse, it's tilted slightly forward, allowing any extra weight (i.e., any) to cause it to fall forward. Will be returning it tomorrow.

Not meant for anything other than a chapter book
It’s cute and does not take up much space however, I have a 15 in laptop but as soon as I take my hands off the table or computer it topples over. Does the same if I leave a textbook on it

Legs suck
The legs on this table are rounded at the bottom so movement or a shift in the bed or couch the table rolls forward or back. My laptop has fallen back so many times. A plate of food went flying forward. It’s a cute table but the leg design isn’t functional. In the picture the table is leaning forward, the only thing keeping it from falling forward is a backpack off to the left.

Not practical, but pretty.
A really pretty laptop tray and the bamboo smells amazing. Unfortunately it’s not practical and I’ll be returning it. It’s way too high and super wobbly on a couch or bed. I wish it had adjustable legs that were a little thicker.

not stable
The legs are useless and poorly designed. I was on bedrest at the end of pregnancy and wanted a lap desk for studying in bed. you cannot have a computer or heavy book on the table on a bed. It just falls over unless you're holding it. The depth of the desk is too narrow for how tall it is to function with the rounded shape of the legs. Spend the extra $18 for the other ones sold by target- I didnt want the one with the drawer but I wish I had gotten it.
