Lap Desk/Tray - Brightroom™

While I can see this being super useful on the floor or perhaps on a coffee table, I found it less suitable for use on a bed. The lack of moving parts (except the hinges) does make it feel fairly sturdy, though. Basically, the product itself isn't bad but didn't suit my particular needs, so I ended up returning it (thankfully a simple process). For those looking to use something like this in bed (not recommended)— While many products like this advertise use in bed, a mattress' squishy surface combined with the desk's height, narrow footprint and rounded legs made it very unstable. Other, similar products (including those with adjustable heights) have the same problems, with too narrow of a stance to be stable on a soft surface, so ultimately it's just that these types of mini-desks aren't actually well suited to use on a mattress, and finding a different brand won't make a lot of difference in the long run. Unless you have a very firm mattress, I guess. Mine is a foam top though so it's quite squishy. Context: I was hoping to get a mini desk like this to raise my laptop up off my lap while in bed so that I can set my (screenless) graphics tablet in my lap instead, and still have the laptop screen positioned so that I'm not hunching forward so much while drawing. Unfortunately, this desk is not stable enough for that (and a few inches too tall), but it was a nice thought.

I bought this for my laptop to use in bed instead of my old breakfast tray which has sides on it (doesn't allow for typing), but here is my gripe about this after just a couple hours. For one, the legs are rounded at the base so it is easy to rock back & forth, and secondly, the top is smooth so everything slides right off. I was hoping for a bit of grip on top but that isn't the case. I really wanted to like this but unfortunately, I will be returning it in the next day or two.

I bought this for my grandkids and they love it but it's very drab and looks more like something that would be used in a hospital or a living facility. But other than that, it is absolutely perfect LOL and I'm only saying this because I gave it to my grandkids who are kids and are drawn to vibrant colors. I love the price and the portability and the ease of use. It's also very sturdy. Will most likely be buying my kids one LOL

It really has made it easy for me to get things done when I am just working from home and lying in bed or if someone is sick and I can bring food to them in bed so it is so very helpful so if you work from home def recommend

It keeps my laptop at a much more ergonomic height so I’m not hunched over trying to play the Sims

Very sturdy love everything about it . I can sit on the couch or bed and use the tray very easily. Very sturdy and good quality . Would recommend . Very nice for college student or someone who works from home.

This lap desk has been the perfect for my daughter to do her homework on. It is sturdy, so I don’t have to worry about it falling. It is also large enough that she can have a textbook on top while easily completing her homework. She loves that there’s also a cupholder, pen holder and a device holder. It is made from durable materials and has been easy for me to wipe up to clean.

We like this lap desk a lot. The legs fold up really nicely and it's easy to carry and store. It's a nice height and it's roomy enough for the few things you need space for at a time. I like the grippy legs too so it's not slipping around.

I love this thing! Its sturdy wnough to gold heavier items, but still compact and east to move. The grey and white make it seem very minimalistic and chic. I use this almost daily for working from home when I cannot be at a desk.

This product is excellent! Comes in handy indeed. Great features. Love how it folds down. Has a cup holder and non slip edges. This is the perfect lap desk. Can be used in so many more ways. This is a perfect tray for lounging on the bed or sofa. I love the easy folding legs on it. It's a perfect height to fit over my lap. The drink holder is small, but just right to grip a drink for me. There is a pencil tray too, but it can hold my phone upright for me. It's really nice to hold my laptop or books.

This tray is perfect for those lazy days in bed or on the couch. It is a very comfortable size, it has enough room for a full dinner plate or if you are using is as a desk it has enough room for a book or notebook to write in. It has a built in cup holder, a slot for a stylish and a slot to hold your ipad/tablet. This is one of the micest lap trays around. I absolutely love it.
