  • A: Hi Rick! Yes, you can use this phone without data for calling and texting however, some capabilities of the phone will be limited. We have excellent monthly rate plans starting at only $20 per month. Our $20 plan used to come with unlimited talk & text only. However, we decided to add 1GB of data each month, for the same low price! Some of our customers who are currently on this plan, will ask that we disable their data if they don't want to use it. This way they don't need to worry about going over to 1GB. We never charge overage fees; you would only be bumped up to the next unlimited talk & text plan with 5GB data for $25 a month. Returned the phone

We did not like it. Could never get the phone to come on even called Consumer Cellular tech to help. We returned the phone.

Not worth the price.

This phone is a complete failure. Apps are liable to shut down or simply not work. This one star is being generous. Don't buy this product.

Terrible phone and customer service

Do not buy this phone

This phone should not be on the market, it is a complete quality failure. It just randomly shuts down or closes apps. It has caused me difficulty when using it for navigation as you have to re boot it before you can get directions. It is only a matter of time before someone takes Consumer Cellular to court because of dangerous situations caused by this quality disaster. It is a shame you cany give less than 1.
