i bought this with my money that i had gotten from this recent christmas . the putty is very soft and fun to play with ! the putty has a lot of glitter in it to make it look space-y , and you can feel the glitter when you play with it ( i love that ! ) . i love this putty !

I really, really wish that Crazy Aaron's would change their packaging. That would make it a five-star thinking putty. The putty itself is great - has both stretch and snap, there is an endless variety of different colors, mixins, etc. that keep kids with different interests engaged. I find the putty to be something that I keep on my desk and tend to use when bored in meetings or when I'm (wait for it..) thinking. But - and this is a big but - the packaging stinks. No matter what size putty I get, at some point during the shipping/putting on the shelf process, putty gets between the container and the lid, creating a glue like system that makes the lid impossible to take off. I've broken many fingernails trying. Once I've finally pried it open and rubbed off the putty that's acting like the glue the lid works fine, but it has taken me signficant effort and time to get lids off. (And if you have a surefire, pain-free way to get those lids off, I'd love to know your secret). If you lack hand strength or get easily frustrated, you might consider another brand.

I like the putty and how it changes colors, wish it were slightly softer.

I like the texture of this; I was looking for putty for hand physical therapy. However, the container is only about 1/3rd full. I thought it was a little expensive for the cost per size but when I realized the size was about a third of what they make it appear (the metal packing tin is not see through of course) I was pretty disappointed. It feels like a pretty sleazy thing for the company to do. Would not recommend, or purchase again. Also the container is difficult to get the lid back on.

Would give it zero stars if I could. There is barely any putty! Kids were very disappointed!

The packaging is very poor quality. The putty was dried out and when I contacted the manufacturer, they said that's the normal texture. It's so hard, you can't even palpitate it. It was shrunken to a tiny amount. It was a gift for a child, and she was very disappointed. It's too difficult to return because it was from Santa, so it was just a waste of money and a disappointing stocking stuffer. I would not recommend at all.

Used as an angel tree gift so I did not open it, however I love Crazy Aaron's putty and have high hopes for the durability of this putty.

Paid $9.99 for this, only to open the container to putty that is extremely hard, looks nothing like the picture and doesn’t even fill half the container. Waste of money.

super fun to play with and never dries out! perfect size as well even though the containar makes it seem like its a lot but i coul dhold it in one hand with ease.

Yes, when you open it, it looks like a mess. But you just pull out the bulk of it and use it to grip/grab the rest of the putty that may be misplaced, even outside the lid. Yes, may seem small, but it’s a giant case for some reason compared to what it used to be. I haven’t encountered any of the dryness others have mentioned, and I have 10 of them over the years.

Hands down best putty. Doesn’t dry out. Would knock off half a star for the difficult lids.

Junk!!!! It takes forever to open and there is probably 1/4 teaspoon of goo in the 2.1 oz container. Not worth $10 by any means. Not worth the sale price either. They need better packaging and quality control on how much putty goes in the container.

Crazy Aaron’s Thinking Putty has replaced slime in our house because it provides the same sensory experience as slime without the mess!! I have easily pulled chunks of this putty off of the carpet, clothes, and even hair! Highly recommend.

Well I like it and all. It's certianlly feels nice to mindlessly play with and it's colour changing effect is cool to watch. But I have to say that I expected it to be darker. It doesn't look like picture on the lid and it doesn't scream inter galactic to me.
