Cuisinart Classic Kitchen Long Zester

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been wanted to get a zester for a long time and this one does not disappoint! The handle's grippier material makes it easy to hold and use. I rinsed it right after use and all the leftover pieces came off easily. I also appreciate that it's dishwasher safe and also has a clip-on proactive shield for safe storage that seems like it will hold up well.

I decided to try it on an apple as the skin is tough. I didn't have any fruit around that needed zesting. It was quick and easy to use. The handle is easy to grip. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the Cuisinart classic kitchen long zester. This zester is amazing. It is the best zester I have ever used, it is super sharp and the long length makes it really easy to use. The bottom side of the zester is slick so your zest comes off easily and it also makes it really easy to clean. This zester is super sharp so your hardly have to press the lemon or garlic, you just slide it up and down the blade and it produces so much zest so quickly. This also comes with a plastic cover so the tiny blades of the zester are protected when not in use.

Now that I’ve tried the Cusinart Classic long zester, I don’t know how I managed to cook without one! It’s so easy to use with a sturdy handle that has a great comfortable grip. Its super sharp and not only does it grate citrus peels, it’s works amazing to grate cheese. I no longer buy shredded varieties because I’m grating my own when needed. It’s a great value for a must have cooking gadget that’s also easy to wash. The best part, it has a lifetime warranty.

So I feel very safe using it without having all that flex, plus the grippy handle helps. The cover is a standard snap on plastic guard which is ok. Do know this is a LONG zester. So it's not the most convenient for zester small plates/etc, but great for cooking and quickly zesting into a large pan.

And while I do a fair share of zesting citrus fruits, what I’m even more excited about is how easily it grates cheese! Now there’s no need to get out a bulky tool when I just need to grate a little cheese!

It works really well and gets the job done fast without a ton of effort. The quality feels solid, which is what I expect from Cuisinart. I know it is a zester that I would normally use for just my citrus fruit, but I found that it works amazing to grate garlic as well. I have only used it a few times so far, but I have had no issues at all.

It’s made of stainless steel so it’s pretty sturdy and it’s easy to use and clean. It’s dishwasher safe which I’m glad about it. It has a cover so it doesn’t accidentally scrape you when you’re rummaging in your utensil drawer.

I had no problems zesting various citrus, and I expect this would handle Parmesan cheese well too. The clip on protector is solid - it looks like it will hold up well, and the fact that it is dishwasher safe is also a win for me.

I first used it to grate carrots with ease and had perfectly grated carrots for my salad. The zester comes with a handy blade protector that snaps on and off with ease. This would also mak such a great gift for anyone.
