Curology Acne Starter Set - 3ct

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the acne patches! Those work wonderful. The cleaner however left my skin dry and irritated so I had to pass that along. The moisturizer was nice for normal skin. My skin in the winter needs something thicker. Maybe it will be good in the summer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This set is perfect for traveling! I love that this set includes a face wash, moisturizer, and emergency pimple patches! It is non drying the face wash! It doesn’t leave me flaky but my skin feels cleansed and refreshed! I love that the moisturizer is a gel, and is not heavy at all! It easily glides over the face and absorbs into the skin, not leaving you sticky or slick at all! The pimple patches are perfect and provide comfort! I applied it on my pimple and the redness and swelling was reduced overnight! This is my new go to kit for travel and when my skin needs a bit more rescuing when my pores are acting out!

The pimple patches effectively adheres to the skin, creating a protective barrier

It didn’t cause any irritation or redness. You get a lot out of just a little bit. It doesn’t dry you out and it has a neutral scent. Packaging is minimal.

I’ve also used the acne cleanser but it also made me super dry. I’m not sure if it’s the change of weather or this product I personally wouldn’t use this product again.

One of my favorite one is the emergency spot patches- they’re great for random breakouts. The texture is very thick and don’t need much in one use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Acne Care Kit from Curology is so good!! It comes with a cleanser, moisturizer and a sheet of 20 emergency patches. The cleanser lathers up nice without using a lot, and the moisturizer soaks into skin nicely too. It made my face feel super soft and had my skin looking clean and refreshed the next day. The patches are clear (made to be invisible) and actually are kind of hard to see when applied properly. Definitely a great kit for those who struggle with acne. Would make a great gift for teens as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] unfortunately this kit didnt work well for me:(. the acne cleanser broke me out pretty badly. the cleanser is also very thick which I didnt love. the moisturizer worked well, but left a film feeling on my face. the pimple patches worked great though! while this didnt work well for me, I could see other people with different skin types liking it

My favorite item is the gel moisturizer that is lightweight and great for oily skin. There is no residue when applying and absorbs well into the skin. The scent is not strong, which is something I appreciate as someone with sensitive skin. The moisturized feeling lasted all day. It made my skin feel nice and clean.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This kit came into the right time because I was having some breakouts and all of these products helped me a lot! The cleanser was very gentle with my skin, since I am used to strong skincare products and acids, I used it everyday in my day and night skincare routine and it didn't dry or irritate my skin at all. Instead, my skin felt really comfortable and my pores were very clean too! I wish the patches came in different sizes but this average size was okay. They are pretty invisible and did stayed all day long, great adhesive properties. They did helped me to reduce inflammation and pop all those whiteheads without hurting my skin. When I first saw the moisturizer I thought it would be like a stick moisturizer, but it wasn't. I would prefer it i a tube so I can get all the product out once is done. But I liked the moisturizer anyways, it's very light, doesn't feel sticky and doesn't leave my skin greasy. Overall, it's a great set to treat pimples, I would enjoy like a second part kit to treat acne marks afterwards

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this little kit is such a great value, the sizes are pretty big for minis but they have great small packaging sizes that are great for travel. The gel cream is like a water cream that easily absorbs into the skin. It feels really great. The cleanser is more basic, gel and unscented but has 2% salicylic acid which I love for my skin. And then this kit comes with 20 hydrocolloid spot patches which is such a great deal for that amount. I think this kit is very affordable for everything you get and I like that it was created and developed by dermatologists so you know you are getting good skincare for your skin that’s going to work on acne.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Acne Care Kit is not bad, but it’s also not fantastic. To start, I have dry skin with the occasional breakout. The Acne Cleanser has good ingredients for the most part and is dermatologist tested, which I appreciate. It’s a gel cleanser, but as you wash your face, it foams up. It has 2% salicylic acid, which is a mild dose. This is great for starting out. My skin felt nicely cleansed, albeit a little dry. However, even with it only being 2%, I feel as if my skin was mildly tingly/stinging for the next few minutes. Nothing too bad by any means, but it may aggravate those with sensitive skin. I do think this would be good for those with inflamed acne. The pimple patches are great. I did not have any active breakout to apply them to, but they feel sticky enough to last the whole day/night, and are hidden enough on the skin. The Gel Moisturizer is also dermatologist tested, and the ingredients are mild, but this product is not a standout to me. It does not leave any sticky residue. Rather, it is extremely lightweight (as described), but I think too much. The cleanser can be stripping, and on my dry skin, it needed more moisture. For those with oily skin, the gel moisturizer might be enough, but not for me. This was the biggest letdown of the set. Overall, I do believe the set works, but it is more suited for an oily skinned individual.
