Good for interior use
What I've found is, this is a great caulk for interior use where it will be painted afterwards. Also to make the bead a little bigger than you think you'll need because it will shrink some. For exterior that will be painted or even interior where i dont need to rush the painting afterwards, I choose extreme stretch.

Best Seal
This is an awesome seal, i was clueless when she chapped the wall during her teething. I used this and the wall was perfected to original. I use this to seal all the cracks. Strongly recommend this product which was sent for free

Excellent!
This caulk is perfectly fine. Some of these other reviews that were bad need to be looked at through a serious filter. They did not apply correctly. Perhaps they should read the instructions fully at the very least! Good job DAP! And no, I’m not a paid or bias reviewer. I’m just a guy in rural country trying to get by.

Caulding Discolored
I installed PVC Trim on my home & caulked the joint. The caulking turned black after installation.

Thank you for posting your feedback. We're sorry to see your low star review on DAP ALEX FLEX. We are not able to positively identify the nature of the discoloration based on the photographs/information that you have provided. The most common causes for discoloration are dirt pick-up prior to curing and/or biological contamination. Of note, it appears that there are also other areas/materials where similar discoloration is evident (vinyl/plastic weather stripping/trim), which would suggest that the discoloration is primarily biological in nature. Because you did not provide any background regarding your project, application technique or application conditions, we are not able to provide a proper response in this format. Should you wish to provide this information, so we can address your concerns, please feel free to contact DAP's Technical Customer Service Department at 888-327-8477.

Best stuff I've ever used
Never hardens in the tube, so you don't end up throwing away half a tube between jobs. Flows smooth, shapes easily, and dries for paint quickly. It's all I'll buy now.
