DAP is more like CRAP
The Name should be CRAP. After this cured overnight it had the holding power of a used band-aid. It immediately flaked off and left a huge white flaky mess.

Based on your commentary indicating: “It immediately flaked off and left a huge white flaky mess", it would appear to indicate that you may be attempting to apply the sealant to an area where silicone and/or its residue may be present. Because silicone and its residue are classified as a "bond breaker" (a surface that is too slick to permit proper adhesion/bond formation), proper adhesion/product performance would not be expected. As indicated on the product package label/product literature: " Surface Preparation - Surface must be clean, structurally sound and free of all old caulk, dirt and other foreign material.” Because your review did not contain enough background/details about your project/application, it is difficult to provide a more detailed reply in this format. It works great for keeping cold draft areas out in between the windowsills
It works well for a ceiling, drafting open areas and windowsills to keep the cold out in the winter time

Quick and easy to use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our house is on clay soil which means a lot of shifting when we are in a drought or rains heavily. I started noticing some cracking near the ceiling of my shower and wanted something easy and durable to patch it with. This DAP Kwik Seal Caulk was so easy to use. It filled everything perfectly. I just applied at the crack and then wiped away any excess with a gloved hand. It took no time at all. I’m so glad it’s mild and mildew resistant so I don’t have to worry about using it in the bathroom.

Easy to use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to use tube with no harsh smell. I put around my sink with no mess. Let it dry for a few hours to be safe. Looks good and looks smooth. Nice to not need a caulking gun. Will be using for some spots in my bathroom. Looks clean and is waterproof.

Game Changer

Great sealant that’s easy to use!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The DAP Kwik Seal did an amazing job in my kitchen! It has markings on the opening to show what angle to cut the opening. It was easy to squeeze and apply. Dried quickly with no smell! The cap can be placed back on with a little push. I will be putting it in my bathroom next. Overall a great product that I would buy in the future.

It’s a good quick fix
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The whole process was simple and easy. The caulk doesn’t have any smell. The only tricky part was squeezing it out. It didn’t come out as smoothly as I thought it would. But it doesn’t matter because I just smear it as I even it out. I gotta say it was easier using my finger to do the job though.

Fairly easy to use. The cracks in my shower were very minimal and I had a hard time making everything look smooth. However, I had larger cracks that needed to be sealed in the bathroom and this did the trick and was easy to smooth out and make it look neat. Easy to use and the bottle is bigger than what I expected.

Simple Application

Cleanup was easy with just water. I love that it is mildew resistant. Great for small projects around the house. Especially for those who always have a DIY project going on like us.

Exceptional brand providing another great product!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m a huge fan of DAP products and always resort to purchasing this brand if the product is available with my last purchase being marine auto/marine silicone sealant. Application of the Kwik seal kitchen and bath caulk was extremely easy following the directions provided on the packaging. After applying, clean up was easy as the excess caulk washed off hands and tile easily. I applied this a month ago to my bathtub and tile and so far, no mold or mildew and has been 100% waterproof. With this experience and past experience with DAP products, I highly recommend!

Great Product

I had a floating cabinet sag a little from someone standing on it, and this repaired it perfectly. Looks good as new. I expect this to hold up well. The instructions are easy to read and I just followed along each step to get great results. Highly recommend.

Good caulk
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super simple for my husband to use to recalulk our bathroom tub along the floor and create a waterproof barrier! We did it in the morning and went out for a few hours and were pleasantly surprised it was dry to the touch. We waited the 24 hours before using the tub/exposing it to water like the directions said. Very happy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently tried the DAP Kwik Seal Acrylic Latex Adhesive Caulk and was very impressed with how easy it was to use. The product goes on smoothly and allows for precise application, which is great when you want a clean and professional finish. It dried quickly without any issues and left a neat look around the area I applied it to. One of the things I really liked is that it doesn’t have any strong or unpleasant odor, which makes it much more comfortable to work with indoors. However I’m not a huge fan of the hardened caulk and prefer the rubber type caulk as this kind is a little more difficult to remove and replace
