This provocative international bestseller follows the trail blazed by Raymond Moody's Life After Life, revealing what happens after we die, weaving first-hand experience with emerging scientific discoveries.

Death does not exist.

When we die, we don't stop living. We change worlds.

What happens when we die? What happens to our consciousness? Does it outlive brain death? Those pressing and eternal questions overwhelmed French journalist Stéphane Allix when his brother passed away. So he decided to mobilize all of his skills and instincts as a journalist in an attempt to shed light on the mystery of our consciousness.

Written as a letter to his fifteen-year-old daughter in an attempt to explain her uncle's untimely death and its impact on his own understanding of reality, Death Does Not Exist weaves scientific breakthroughs with tales of the countless unexplained phenomena related to death (near-death experiences, extra-sensory perception) and personal experiences including a shamanic quest. This grand adventure leads toward inspiring revelations about the nature of the soul, suggesting that our consciousness has a spiritual dimension.

Death Does Not Exist is at once a forward-thinking assessment about recent discoveries and a truly inspiring personal story, offering comforting reassurance discovered over the course of Allix's journey to the farthest reaches of life.

"A compelling case for finding inspiration in the mystery, and trusting intuition to guide you toward peace and connection."--Tara Swart, New York Times bestselling author of The Source and The Signs

Review Quotes

"A compelling case for finding inspiration in the mystery, and trusting intuition to guide you toward peace and connection."

- Tara Swart, New York Times bestselling author of The Source and The Signs

"This remarkable treatise was driven by the author's sense of partial responsibility for the loss of his beloved brother in a tragic road accident, and the subsequent loss of the author's father. Many have pursued the same path of discovery triggered by such personal losses, but Stéphane's journey is especially illuminated by his diligence in examining deeply into near-death experiences through some of the world's most renowned scientific investigators, unraveling the science around the brain-mind connection, reviewing remarkable cases of 'terminal lucidity, ' extracting clues from the hospice community suggesting the reality of the soul, discussing after death communications, and extensive personal ayahuasca journeys with Amazonian shamans, in addition to several high dose LSD trips, bundled with extensive meditation. Ultimately, he emphasizes the power of meditation to enable souls to most effectively awaken and connect with departed loved ones. A most instructive journey!"

"Stéphane Allix is an investigating journalist and writer whose work I know for many years. His amazing Death Does Not Exist presents fifteen years of rigorous, impressive, and sincere investigative work on life after death, together with a moving spiritual exploration and sensitive and poetic writing. This fascinating book is presenting a large range of indications that consciousness goes beyond time and space, and that there is a continuity of consciousness after the death of our body. A highly recommended read for anyone who want to get a clear and exhaustive synthesis about what will happen when we die."
