There are no existing industry standard methods for measuring the maximum weight-bearing capacity of most residential furniture products. As you know, Ashley Furniture Industries only produces goods for residential use. As the load that our products can bear is dependent on so many independent variables (static load, force, movement, placement of the weight, and design, to name a few) there is no accurate way for us to state the maximum weight-bearing capacity.

Decent Chairs
Sturdy chairs but the seats are on the hard side and I had to purchase a cushion to put on top of the seat for more comfort.

Rubbish
Worst table set I’ve ever bought. The legs keep sliding all over the place and the feet rests on the seats are ridiculous. If I could give this -10 I would. Less than a year after buying, it started falling apart.

Perfect
I love my new table. It is the perfect size for my small apartment. I also ordered with the installation to be put together by the delivery team. He was quick and was very well put together. Very sturdy. He even took he's shoes off when he entered. Nice guy.

Not good
I have had them 1.5 years and the past January a leg had to be repaired. Now the wood hold a leg together came off. I live alone and hardly use the set. I sit elsewhere.

Pretty but not sure the quality is worth the price
The table looks nice and it fits in our space well. I deducted two stars because I’ve only had the table and chairs for a week and one of the chairs has come apart already. I paid for assembly so this isn’t due to me putting it together incorrectly. Looks like I’ll have to superglue the chair for it to stay together. It wasn’t a super expensive dining set, but it was pricey enough for that to be unacceptable! Hopefully it’s just a fluke and the quality will end up being okay.
