About the Author

Dirk Van Saene (b. 1959) is a Flemish fashion designer who works and lives in Antwerp and gained recognition as one of the Antwerp Six. In addition to the fashion collections he releases under his own name (sold in his own store), he teaches fashion design at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, also known as the Antwerp Fashion Academy.
